Keith Perry - Head Coach Laney High School

Keith Perry is originally from Albany, New York where he discovered the sport of lacrosse in middle school and played attack and midfield throughout his high school career. Keith was also an avid competitive swimmer and was selected to represent the Adirondack Region Water Polo team that competed in the New York Empire State Games from 1994-1995.  

Keith attended Siena College in Loudonville, NY where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree. Upon graduation in 1994 he worked as a research chemist at SI Group in Schenectady, NY until moving to Wilmington, NC where he began teaching chemistry at Laney High School in 2003.

While at Laney he helped establish a Women’s Lacrosse team and was the assistant coach from 2004-2015 under coach Beau McCaffray. Keith currently teaches Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry at Laney High School and enjoys promoting an interest in the field of science and technology. Keith is the Head Coach for both Women’s Lacrosse and Swimming at Laney and is recognized as a Certified Interscholastic Coach. He was recently selected the 2019 MEAC Women’s Swim Coach of the Year. His interests include running, weight training and coaching team sports at all levels.


ALEXIS BRUNDAGE - ASSISTANT VARSITY COACH LANEY HIGH SCHOOL

Alexis Brundage is a Wilmington native, who grew up playing basketball, tennis, and lacrosse. After completing high school, she went on to play club lacrosse at Appalachian State University and then UNCW. In 2015, she earned her B.A. in History and in 2017 earned her MAT in Secondary Education concentrating in Social Studies.

While at UNCW she coached for Shamrocks club middle school team, then was the JV coach for Laney High School, and most recently the assistant varsity coach for Laney High School for the past four seasons. She enjoys sharing her love of lacrosse to all the girls she coaches and believes in developing hardworking, respectful, and well-rounded athletes who are able to compete at a higher level.  


ASHLEY EAMMA - ASSISTANT JV COACH LANEY HIGH SCHOOL

Ashley Eamma was born and raised here in Wilmington, and grew up dancing and playing lacrosse, basketball and swimming. After completing high school at Laney High School, she attended Appalachian State University for two years and is now at UNCW. She is a Junior majoring in International Studies with concentration in Environmental Studies and a minor in Psychology.  

Ashley was the Assistant Swim Coach and the Assistant JV Coach at Laney High School for the past season. She enjoys coaching lacrosse and sharing the joy she gets from playing it. She believes in helping establish hard working, respectful, humble, and well-rounded athletes who are willing to work hard to compete at a higher level.
